    Taos update
We just finalized the agreement with Taos, thanks to Rocky for all his hard work making sure we get all the details squared away.

Jim Tullos will have more info soon and John Stockhausen is in the process of updating the website. There are a few changes to how we have done things in the past that needs mention.

Rooms needs to be booked by December 10, 2021.  Space is limited, the hotel has 80 rooms and they’re all blocked for us. In addition to taxes there is a $35/night resort charge per room. You can still book after 12/10 but they cannot guarantee the rate after that date. Unfortunately they will not honor our requested 10 day cancellation policy. Latest cancellation date for a full refund is 12/10.

Rocky has negotiated a special breakfast rate of $7. This needs to be pre booked so the resort can ensure they have enough food ordered. In addition, we need to know if you are planning on staying for the awards dinner.

Lift tickets needs to be pre paid as well by December 26. You won‘t be able to get NAASF pricing at the walk up window or at registration. The resort will set up a link to pre pay tickets, registration and meal package.

The good news is that we are staying at the mountain, the bad news is that last seasons covid restrictions has made the resort firm up their policies. As far as parties go, the plan is that we’ll be back to normal. At the awards dinner we will be doing the 2020 season year end awards.

After not skiing the 2020 season, I personally cannot wait to get back on skis and seeing everyone again. Pray for snow, or join Mike  Pearson doing his snow dance.

    Welcome to our new Website!!

A BIG Thank You to RAA, Kelly Hammett (RAA), Earl Weintraub, Katy Conti, Dan Rigterink, Julie Molano, Greg Gilger, and Rodney Wise (Web consultant).  These folks worked throughout the summer to get this site up and running for our new season... muchas gracias!!

Hopefully, you will like the upgrade.  This website has many features our previous did not have.  I'll mention a few...

    • The login process is much more intuitive.
    • Once you have paid your dues, you will have a profile page where you will be able to access/edit all of your account information including event registrations, invoices/payments and more.
    • Management of the website will be less complex.
    • Email, E-commerce, Event registrations, News/Information will be centrally located within the new site. (previously we used 3 seperate sites to operate... (Weebly, Square, MailChimp)

While you navigate through the new site, if you see something, or have issue with something not working, please shoot an email to Dan or Julie and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

As we press forward throughout the new season we will continue to make minor changes to improve your experience on the site.

See You All at Training Camp at Steamboat!!
