IASF has put up a web site for the 2009 World Airline Ski Championship 2009. The URL is www.WASC2009.com.

A quick look found a link to a WASC Facebook page with a Norwegian Widerøe video from last year's week in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. (Keep your eyes peeled for the glamourous cameo by an AA Snowboard groupie.)

Lots of info for those who know they want to go, and those who wonder what it's all about.

What can I tell you? Your webmaster is a boarder. I have a library of pictures taken when I was sitting in the snow. Guess who's sitting in the snow next to me? Please upload SKIER pictures to the MSN site and send me a note.

I particularly need Snowbird and Steamboat pictures for the upcoming ski weeks.
